Dr. Susan Feneck's journey from student to founder of Juvenile Justice Impact is a testament to her dedication to youth advocacy and mental health awareness. Her academic pursuits, culminating in a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, laid the foundation for her impactful career.
As a Child Psychologist at the Erie County Department of Forensic Mental Health, Dr. Feneck gained invaluable experience working with at-risk youth in various settings. Her role on the Task Force, writing court-ordered mental health evaluations and developing programs, honed her expertise in juvenile justice issues.
Dr. Feneck's commitment to education extended to her role as an Adjunct Professor at Canisius College, where she also established an internship program, bridging academic learning with real-world experience in youth psychology.
In 2019, Dr. Feneck founded Juvenile Justice Impact in Las Vegas, focusing on prevention programs, workshops, and mental health awareness. Her JJI podcast reaches an international audience, addressing crucial youth-related topics and providing support to listeners worldwide.
Recognized for her contributions, Dr. Feneck has been nominated multiple times as one of the Top 100 Doctors and Woman of Influence. In June 2022, she was honored as Woman of The Year by My Vegas Magazine.Through JJI, Dr. Feneck continues to pursue her passion for helping, educating, and healing at-risk youth, making a lasting impact on individuals and communities.
